Are career assessment test really helpful?

I recently graduated with my AA degree but I am not sure what I want to get my BA in. Or even what I want to do for a living. I was thinking about doing career assessment tests they cost $40. They are the ‘Myers-Briggs Personality Profile’ and a ‘Strong Interest Inventory.’ As a poor college student do you think that it is worth it? Are these test helpful at all?

Other than making you aware of new possibilities, no. I find all these tests are interesting, but usually don’t give you matches that seem right. I don’t know a single person that had a career epiphany after taking one of these tests.
